Opal sock yarn is a pre-patterned, self striping and fairisle producing effect yarn that is fun to knit with and makes for eye catching socks. Purpose made with socks in mind, this 4-ply yarn, made from a 75% wool (superwash) and 25% polyamide blend, is both cozy and highly durable, as well as washable up to 40 degrees. With just one ball, create a complete pair of socks. 100 grams = 425 metres needle size for socks – 2.5mm needles/hook size for scarves & blankets – 3.5mm
